OUT-PATIENT SERVICES

Star Specialist Hospital's Outpatient Center is located on the ground floor of the newly renovated and expanded building, bringing outpatient services into one convenient location 24/7. Services offered include:


- Triage: The first step towards your treatment, no matter how complex it may be. At this point the Triage nurse will provide routine BP and weight monitoring where she may decide whether you need to see a Doctor immediately or queue in the waiting area.


- General consultations:  Our Doctors will take your medical history, diagnose the problem at hand and decide whether you will need to go to the Lab or Imaging departments for further examinations or directly to the Pharmacy for prescription of medication.


- Specialized Clinics:  With our in-house and visiting consultants, we ensure all patient needs are catered for within the Hospital. Consultations with our specialist are either through referral by our Doctors or by booking an appointment at the Hospital reception.


- Laboratory services: Our Class-E Laboratory Serves both patients seen by our Doctors or with requests from outside the hospital or even self requests. 


- Imaging services: General and specialized X-rays, Ultrasounds, ECG, Dental X-rays like OPG etc.


- Pharmacy: Our pharmacy serves patients seen/treated by our Doctors, Prescriptions from other Hospitals/ Doctors are also served.


- Dental services: Equipped with ultra modern equipment for the comfort of both doctor and patient.


- Day surgery: This caters for all minor surgeries that do not require admission. With a modern and fully equipped outpatient theater that can cater for even major surgeries should the need arise.   


- Casualty and A&E: An accident and emergency department equipped with all necessary equipment including defibrillators, ventilators, patient monitors, mobile X-ray and ultrasound. Our personnel are continuously trained in BLS, ATLS and ACLS to cater for all emergencies. Our casualty department also caters for patients who require any infusion without admission.
